Welcome to our School It is with great pleasure that I introduce you to Woodborough Wood’s Foundation School. It is a very happy place for everyone and a very special place to be. Our children enjoy their work, are enthusiastic and are very happy to be here. The governors, staff and parents all work together as a team to provide the best opportunities for children by combining the best of both traditional and latest thinking in education. Every day at school has something new and different to offer. We pride ourselves in providing a broad and balanced curriculum that is enriched with exciting trips and events. Our values of happiness, pride and commitment help us build a better future for all of our community. Children feel safe and secure in the happy and caring environment of our school. There is no greater importance to parents and carers, or to our school, than the safety of all of our children. Safeguarding is our number one priority.

Wood’s Foundation School is situated in Woodborough near St Swithun’s church, with which we have close links. Lots of our children come from Woodborough with many more coming from nearby Epperstone, Calverton, Lambley, Lowdham, Arnold, Mapperley as well as further afield.
Our aim is to make teaching and learning the best it can be. We aim to create a warm, supportive and encouraging environment.
The best way to truly see our school is to come for a visit and meet our wonderful children and dedicated staff team in action.

My very best wishes
Duncan White
